I just reflect back on my life when I was growing up as a child when people would try to shut me down due to

With one hand we can open the door to other people's dreams or we can slam it shut. We have the power to encourage and we have the power to crush. Treat each person with care. Hold them in high esteem with respect for who they are and not in the harsh light of judgment for their failures and mistakes. They too, may hold the key to unlocking your door.
